(More customer reviews)I got this for my 8 month old, who previously had no soother or lights to fall asleep with. I was hoping it would help calm her when she woke up in the middle of the night, but we couldn't use it. It distracted her when she was trying to fall asleep, and she just pulled on the fish. I guess it was too much of a change. I think it would be good for younger babies who are not used to a particular sleep environment.
Also, it would sometimes catch and make a loud clicking sound.
